The Alfred H. Barr Painting and Sculpture Galleries feature an historical sequence of works from MoMA’s collection, primarily from the Painting and Sculpture Department. Works on the fifth floor date from 1880–1940. These galleries are periodically reinstalled to reflect the depth and richness of the Museum’s collection.
